May 14, 2022 marked my 10-year anniversary (or MFAnniversary as we say here) at Mercy For Animals. I’m asking for your help to celebrate this milestone by raising $1,000 for each year—let’s get at least $10,000 for Mercy For Animals’ impactful work for animals.

In January 2006, I started volunteering with Mercy For Animals. For the next six years, I did the most rewarding volunteer work of my life as an activist, dreaming that one day I could turn my passion for helping animals into a full-time career.

On May 14, 2012, that dream became a reality when I began working full time at Mercy For Animals, out of the Chicago office.

That was 10 years ago.

Since then, I have worked with every fiber of my being toward our vision of a world where all animals are respected, protected, and free. I have been lucky enough to help build this organization that I love so much into the international powerhouse that it is today and have met so many amazing animal protectors from all over the world along the way. A dream job in every sense.
